What a phenomenol weekend. Thirty five members of the Deer Creek church descended on Sequoyah State Park for a great retreat. We had a grand mix of ages (children, teens, college, singles and marrieds). The weather could not have been better if it had been custom ordered. Our hayride and cook-out Friday night was wonderful start to the weekend. The singing around the camp fire was heavenly. Brent did an outstanding job exhorting us with his lesson on Sunday morning. Let us remember to stand with God regardless of what the world around us is doing. Mark has already reserved our cabins for next year. Be sure to put it on your calendar and in your budget.
